POSTS:

4” x 4” .40 ACQ plain.

GATES:

Double “A” braced to eliminate sag. 4’ and 5’ width standard.

Sections screwed to the face of the post with 3” deck screws at all 6 backer rail intersections. Any section can be removed with six screws for easy access to yard.

Posts are set 32” below ground level and soil is hand tamped to insure strength and rigidity. Concrete is not used as it accelerates decay with water retention.

  • A properly built and installed spruce fence has a life expectancy of 10-12 years and will turn to a silvery gray when left untreated.
  • Posts will outlast the sections life expectancy by double allowing for easy replacement when necessary.
  • Pressure treated posts are .40 ACQ rated which means they have a 40-year life expectancy.
